  • Form 22C-1: Chapter 13 Statement of Your Current Monthly Income and Calculation of Commitment Period
  • Form 22C-2: Chapter 13 Calculation of Your Disposable Income
  • See below for a list of all the revised Official Federal Forms

New Features

  • Form 22. Statement of Current Monthly Income/Disposable Income: Best Case now allows users to enter in an undated income increment on the CMI details page. This will help users that have a consistent income amount that will not change for the foreseeable future, and will ignore date constraints typically associated with this form.
  • Form 22. Statement of Current Monthly Income/Disposable Income: Best Case now allows attorneys to compute debtors Disposable Monthly Income (DMI) while entering information into Form 22, even when the debtor is below the Median income. To access this new feature, use the check box on the Median tab labeled “Always Compute DMI”, and you will see additional tabs become available.
  • Form 22. Statement of Current Monthly Income/Disposable Income: Best Case has now added an additional tab to the Means Test labeled “All $”. The new “ALL $” tab shows all the lines with dollar amounts in a compact format that allows for quickly reviewing the form 22 data. If you wish to see an amount on the tab where it is entered double-click or press enter on the line.
  • Form 7. Statement of Financial Affairs: Best Case has improved section 4a to now include the option to select any creditor entered in to schedules D, E or F, and will now import the creditors information into this section of the Statement of Financial Affairs.
  • Form 7. Statement of Financial Affairs: Best Case has enhanced the way attorneys enter information in the Statement of Financial Affairs by adding a "Previous" and "Next" button to the bottom of the entry screen. Users will no longer have to select each question individually, saving time and streamlining workflow.
  • Form 22C: Best Case now allows users an option to have Column B on Form 22C appear blank if the spouses income is not available. This will prevent “$0” from appearing for the spouse’s information on the printed form.
  • Compensation Statement: Best Case now allows for hourly billing to be entered and reflected from within the Compensation Statement of Attorney for the Debtor(s).
  • Forms and Schedules: Best Case now allows users to access both the form preference menu and jurisdictional settings menu directly from the main list of forms and schedules. To access this new feature, simply right-click on a form title and a new option menu will appear.
  • Schedule J: We have added a series of new buttons to Schedule J to show IRS standards for allowable expenses. These tables will reflect IRS standard allowances for Living, Housing, Automobile, and Health, and can be used by attorneys to see if the numbers provided by the debtor are significantly different from the values mandated by the IRS.
  • Schedule G: Best Case has enhanced the way Schedule G functions. If an attorney selects “Assume” or “Reject” on Schedule G, Best Case will now automatically check “List Lease” on Form 8.
  • Schedules D, E and F: Best Case now displays a new column in schedules D, E and F to reflect debt liability. This will quickly show users if the creditor is associated with the Husband, Wife, Joint, or Communal debt.
  • Schedules D, E and F: Best Case will now allow users to delete multiple creditors using our "Creditors Delete" interface. To access this feature, press "Ctrl+Alt+Shift+K" anywhere in Schedules D, E or F.
